Can I submit my evaluation before the placement ends?

Your HEI will not allow you to submit your evaluation during the early stages of your placement. During this time, it is believed that a student has not been exposed to the full placement experience therefore any feedback could be skewed.
Who will see my feedback?
Answer
Your Practice Education Facilitator (PEF), Ward Manager and certain university staff related to your placement will see your feedback.
Is my feedback anonymous?
Answer
By default, evaluations are not anonymous. A small number of HEIs have an option for anonymity, if your evaluation is anonymous you will see a message on your evaluation.
Where do I find my placement evaluation document?
Answer
Once you have logged in, you will see any pending placement evaluations on the dashboard
Why must I provide a comment when I disagree or strongly disagree?
Answer
We want to gather comments that will help us identify areas of good practice and aspects of the placement that need strengthening. Leaving a comment when you 'disagree' or 'strongly disagree'
will assist us in improving the placement area and further demonstrate that we value the student voice.
Where do I leave a positive comment?
Answer
If you have selected Strongly Agree or Agree, we would welcome your positive comments so that we can share the good practice with others and to say thank you to the staff who have supported you in practice. You may leave comments in the box at the end of each question.
Where do I find my previously submitted evaluation forms?
Answer
First log in to the PARE and click on the 'Evaluation' tab at the top. On the menu to the left click on 'Completed Evaluations' to view previously submitted forms.
Can I change what I have submitted? Can I edit my answers once I have submitted?
Answer
You can edit any entries made during the time that the Evaluation is available to you. However, once you click 'Save & Submit Evaluation' all entries will be final
How do I know if my comments have been actioned?
Answer
Once your Placement and Education providers have considered all comments they will complete an Action Plan. When these 'actions' have been carried out the outcomes will appear in the 'View Action Plans' tab located on the 'Evaluation' page of your PARE account.
Why do I keep receiving email notifications from PARE?
Answer
PARE sends notifications directly to your email or to your mobile phone via SMS. Notification settings can be adjusted in the 'Preferences' menu settings found under your
name (top right corner of the screen). PARE notifications cannot be turned off as they are there to remind you of important aspects of the PARE you have yet to complete or visit.
How will the placement use the information I provide?

Placement and Education providers work continuously towards improving the quality of the student learning experience. The most effective way of identifying methods to achieve this is to listen to the views and opinions of students like you.
The information you provide here will contribute hugely to positive change and, of course, highlight outstanding members of staff who have helped you during your time in practice.
Is my identity concealed from the placement or university?

By default all the information you provide here is identifiable to you. We strongly advocate the upholding of professional values and invite users to be open, honest and act with integrity when submitting anything to the system.
