Terms and Conditions, and Disclaimer

By using the Practice Assessment Record and Evaluation tool (PARE) you agree to be bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of Health Education England (North) (HEE(N)) and your university or placement provider organisation supported tool. If you do not agree to be bound by all the following terms, please do not access and/or use the PARE tool.

We may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by us.

THE INFORMATION COLLATED WITHIN THIS RESOURCE HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE ONLY TO THOSE GRANTED ACCESS, WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND AND IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMERS:

1. ACCURACY AND CONTINUITY

The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team have taken every reasonable step possible to check for completeness and/or accuracy of the information but makes no promise and/or warranty in ensuring that the information is accurate at all times.

2. WARRANTIES

The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team disclaims any express or implied warranty in providing registered users of any materials, information, graphics, products, or processes contained therein. The user will assume all risks of verifying all materials and/or information used and/or relied on from this online resource. The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team makes no express or implied warranty nor assumes responsibility in the use of this service or its contents for its accuracy, completeness, currency, its use for any purpose, nor would that such items or the use of such items not violate or infringe the rights of others.

3. COPYRIGHT LIMITATIONS AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK OF USE

No one may copy or distribute the information contained therein without the express consent of The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team. The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team has taken every reasonable step to protect their own and third party Intellectual Propriety Rights, including copyright. Neither, The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team or its employees shall be held liable for any damages that may arise from viewing, distributing, or copying of materials contained within this online resource.

4. DATA COLLECTED

Personal Information collected from the end user:

Forename; Surname; email address; Username; Password

Placement Information collected from the end user:

Qualitative and Quantitative data regarding placement areas. This includes comments, progress, and record of attendance.

5. DATA USAGE

The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team will use the data for the following purposes only:

5.1         Administration of Placement Practice Assessment Records

5.2         Administration of Placement Evaluations

5.3         Generation of trend report and analysis

5.4         Generation of regional reports regarding resources, experience, quality and support within practice placement areas utilising this Online Practice Assessment and Record tool.

5.5 Student attendance tracking and learning activities such as employment situated learning, external practice learning experience and theoretical learning (study days)

6. DATA PROTECTION STATEMENT

Your personal information will be held and used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. The Online Practice Assessment and Evaluation team will not disclose such information to any unauthorised person or body but where appropriate will use such information in carrying out its various functions and services. Where exceptions apply, is in accordance with the Data Sharing Agreements between external participating organisations (HEIs and Placement Providers) and any collected information will be shared with the individual external organisations for legitimate assessment and monitoring purposes only. The PARE development team and Data Controllers under the Data Sharing Agreements (HEIs and Placement Providers) may also use this data in connection with the prevention or detection of plagiarism, fraud or other malpractice.

7. Account Access

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your OnlinePARE account. You are responsible for all activities, including electronic signatures, that occur under your password or account.
You agree to notify the OnlinePARE team immediately if you become aware on any unauthorised
use of your account or password.
All users have the right to be 'forgotten' by the system in line with current data protection best practice and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which came into effect from May 25th, 2018.
